90-Day Mechanical Warranty

Every CRC Watch Mods timepiece includes a 90-day limited mechanical warranty, beginning on the date your watch is delivered.

This warranty covers defects related to the movement, assembly, and normal mechanical operation under normal use.

If you experience a mechanical issue during the warranty period, simply contact CRC Watch Mods. I'll inspect the watch and determine the best repair solution.

What the Warranty Covers

Your warranty may include:

  • Mechanical movement issues under normal use
  • Hand alignment or assembly-related issues
  • Date or time-setting problems caused by assembly
  • Loose internal components
  • Other workmanship-related mechanical defects

All warranty claims are evaluated after the watch has been inspected.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from drops, impacts, or accidents
  • Water damage caused by misuse or an improperly secured crown
  • Scratches, dents, or normal wear
  • Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Damage resulting from neglect or improper use

Water Resistance

Every watch is pressure tested before it leaves my workshop.

Most diver models are tested to 5 ATM, while non-diver models are tested to 3 ATM.

Although every watch is tested before shipment, water resistance can never be guaranteed indefinitely. Gaskets naturally wear over time and should be inspected periodically, especially if the watch is used around water.

Movement & Care

CRC Watch Mods watches are powered by reliable automatic mechanical movements. These movements are designed to be worn and enjoyed every day.

If your watch has stopped after not being worn for a period of time, simply wind the crown 20–30 turns before wearing it. Normal wrist movement will continue to keep the watch running.

Setting the Date

To help protect the movement, do not change the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM.

During these hours, the movement is beginning its automatic date change. Manually adjusting the date during this time may damage the date mechanism.

If you need to change the date:

  1. Move the hands outside the 9:00 PM–3:00 AM range.
  2. Set the correct date. By Moving 1 Click out then Counter Clockwise (Chronograph- Clockwise)
  3. Adjust the time to the correct time of day.

Accuracy

Automatic mechanical watches naturally vary in accuracy and may gain or lose a few seconds per day. This is completely normal and part of the character of a mechanical timepiece.

Care Recommendations

To help keep your watch performing its best:

  • Keep the crown fully screwed down (if equipped with a screw-down crown) before exposure to water.
  • Avoid strong impacts and magnetic fields.
  • Clean the case and bracelet occasionally with a soft microfiber cloth.
  • If your watch is automatic, regular wear helps keep it wound and running accurately.
